A few things you can do before hitting the books is to familiarise yourself with the test structure and scoring policy. Go here to check out the official website of ETS – the testing authority. The site allows you to:

register for the test / gives information about the test / gives advice on preparing for the test and test scores as well as reminding you of the documents you need to take with you on the day

There is a nice interactive video which gives an overview of the TOEFL test available here… (I recommend that all students take some time to explore )
